Planning something bigger than a one-desk prank? The BR Costumes 48-pack of mini fake ants is party-grade ammunition. Each ant runs about 2cm long, with translucent red-brown legs and antennae and a dark segmented body detailed enough to make guests hover their hand over the snack table and quietly reconsider their choices.
Forty-eight ants covers serious ground. Ring the punch bowl with a marching column, dot them across serving platters, tuck a few under napkins and still have plenty left to sabotage the office kitchen come Monday. They are a ripper addition to Halloween spreads, haunted-house corners and creepy-crawly themed birthdays, and they slide neatly into party bags as a favour kids actually talk about.
